All over the house.

The children have a new way of fighting

That’s about as stupid

As how they used to fight

Over cups of water in the car.

They see a car they like

And yell, “I call it!”

As if that confers ownership.

Then they fight over “who called it”!

I have words spouting out of my head

Like flowers absurdly sprouting from my brain

I’m going around with a flower pot on top of my head!
