Yellow – the color of sunshine, hence happiness, to me – probably my overall favorite, since I have a need to ward off depression; I like golden yellow with a touch of orange – the color of the sun, baby chicks … not lemon yellow.

Red – the color of excitement, attention, beauty – have you heard that “every room needs a touch of red”?  My favorite color to wear.

Green – the color of healing and plants – another favorite, and a “warm color.”  I feel a great need to be around warm colors; not cool colors.

Pink – when I wear dark fuscia pink, people sometimes say how good it looks on me, so I’ve gotten into it, though pink is generally too girly and subdued for me.

Blue – the color of boys – we love boys – and sadness, Levis, the sky – a nice color, though not a favorite

Teal or Turquoise – blue with a warmth that makes it more appealing – teal is the color of the ocean.

Orange – a fall color – pumpkins – I’ve always liked fall colors (orange, brown, yellow, red) – I just realized “fall colors” are the colors the leaves turn!

Purple – the color of royalty – many people love purple and I can’t knock it, but not my favorite.

Black – I guess everyone thinks black is a sexy color these days, you kind of have to wear it; it’s okay.

White – the color of purity, angels – most importantly, it goes with everything else – I love white.

Brown – the color or wood, my hair – I like it.

Tan – kind of a classic, classy color, as in the camel’s hair variety, with a touch of red.

Gray – my least favorite, though some people look good in it (Nina, Mike).

Gold – gold is a totally cool accent color; nothing like a building or sign with some gold leaf, or gold jewelry.

Favorite color schemes: yellow & white – got to be happy around it; red & green – obsessed with red & green, the colors of Christmas, though that’s not why I like them – I am really happy whenever I find a rug or pillow with a great red & green pattern!  I love to decorate rooms in red and green!
